यह कहानी एक सच्ची कहानी है या नही इसका निर्णय आप स्वयं करना लेकिन मेरे स्रोत के हिसाब से यह एक सच्ची घटना है। इस कहानी की शुरुवात न्यू यॉर्क के कैफे क्लब से शुरू होती है। जब एक भारतीय मूल का व्यक्ति( अरुण) न्यू यॉर्क घूमने गया था और वह वाहा यह देखकर आश्चर्यचकित हो गया की कैफे में एक व्यक्ति ऐसा भी बैठा है जिसने इतनी ढेर सारी मालाएं ( ताबीज) पहनी हुए है की मानो उसको पूरा शरीर ही मालाओं से ढका हुआ है। अरुण यह देखकर सोच में पड़ गया की भला एक इंसान इस समय में वो भी न्यु यॉर्क जैसे शहर में इतनी ढेर सारी मालाएं क्यों पहना हुआ है? अरुण को उस व्यक्ति के बारे में जाने की चेष्टा हुई और वह उस कैफे में बैठे आदमी से बोल पड़ा “ की आपने इतने ढेर सारी मालाएं क्यों पहनी है? ”
